Wing Foiling

Fly above the water on a hydrofoil wing

IntermediateMin age: 16+First ride: 2–3 sessions
  • Start with a large volume board (100L+) and a medium wing (5–6m) in light winds of 12–18kt
  • The UAE's flat Gulf water is ideal for learning — no waves required
  • Expect a steep learning curve in your first session; most people achieve first flight within 2–3 days
  • Al Hamra (RAK), Dubai Kite Beach, and Abu Dhabi's Al Bateen are the top UAE learning spots
  • Book a structured lesson — self-teaching on a hydrofoil is unsafe and risks costly equipment damage
