About UAE Surfing
An independent guide to water sports across the UAE, built by wave riders for wave riders.
Our Mission
UAE Surfing was founded by a group of expats and locals who discovered, somewhat to their own surprise, that the UAE has a vibrant water sports scene. We found ourselves surfing Indian Ocean swells in Fujairah, kitesurfing in Shamal winds across Dubai's Gulf coast, and diving crystal-clear waters around Musandam.
The problem? Information was scattered, hard to find, or out of date. We built UAE Surfing to be the resource we wished we'd had — a comprehensive, up-to-date guide to water sports across all seven Emirates and beyond.
We cover surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, and diving. We list the best spots, the most trusted schools and operators, and write honest gear guides tailored to UAE conditions. We do not accept payment for listings or reviews.
