UAE Surf Open
The UAE's flagship surf competition — open divisions for men, women, under-18s, and longboard. Registration opens online in December.
East Coast Kite Classic
Kitesurfing freestyle and downwind racing competition on the East Coast, followed by a community beach BBQ on Saturday night.
RAK Dive Day
Two guided boat dives per participant. Proceeds support the UAE Coral Reef Restoration Project. Open to all certified divers.
Dubai Kite Beach Festival
The UAE's biggest kite sports event — freestyle and big air competitions, kite buggy racing, demos from international riders, and family beach activities. Spectator entry free.
UAE Kitesurfing League — Round 1
First round of the 4-event UAE Kitesurfing League. Points accumulate toward the annual championship. Entry AED 250/round or AED 750 for full season.
UAE Kitesurfing League — Round 2
Second round of the UAE Kitesurfing League held at RAK's Al Hamra Beach. Strong Shamal conditions expected.
UAE Kitesurfing League — Round 3
Third round of the UAE Kitesurfing League at Ajman's Open Beach, known for clean Shamal conditions in August.
Windsurfing Blastathon
Informal, non-competitive windsurfing gathering running dawn to dusk. Prizes for distances covered. All levels welcome. AED 50 entry includes breakfast and lunch.
UAE Kitesurfing League — Final & Championship
Final league round followed by the annual awards ceremony and beach party. Season champion crowned.
Musandam Liveaboard Dive Trip
3-day liveaboard exploring the spectacular Musandam fjords. Organised by RAK Watersports Centre. Limited to 16 participants. AED 1,950 all inclusive. Contact RAK Watersports to book.
East Coast Surf Comp — Season Opener
First surf competition of the 2026/27 winter season. Open and amateur divisions. Entry fees and venue TBC.
Dubai Sailing Week
Annual dinghy and keelboat racing regatta organised by Dubai Offshore Sailing Club. Multiple fleets including Laser, 420, and offshore keelboat. Spectator racing and social events each evening.
Gulf Wing Foil Open
The UAE's premier wing foiling competition — freestyle and racing formats. Open to all skill levels with separate beginner and performance divisions. AED 200 entry fee.
Musandam Kayak Challenge
Two-day sea kayaking race through the Musandam fjords. Individual and team categories. Approximately 35km total over two stages. All experience levels — there's a recreational (non-competitive) option alongside the race.
Gulf Freediving Cup
AIDA-sanctioned freediving competition across static apnoea, dynamic apnoea, and constant weight disciplines. Open to AIDA 2 certified freedivers and above. International judges, depth line set to 40m.
UAE Snorkel Trail — East Coast
Guided group snorkelling day along the East Coast's best reef sites, organised by the UAE Underwater Exploration Society. Six locations, transport by boat, all levels welcome. AED 250 includes boat, equipment, and lunch.
UAE Wake Series — Round 1
First round of the annual UAE Wake Series at Wadi Adventure's main cable circuit. Amateur and professional divisions; separate junior category. Runs alongside a free public demo day. Entry AED 300.
UAE SUP Race Series
Stand-up paddleboard race across flat-water and technical buoy-turn formats. 12km elite race, 6km amateur race, and a 3km fun paddle for beginners. AED 150 entry; all board types welcome.
Dubai Water Sports Festival
Annual multi-activity festival at JBR Beach combining jet ski demos, cable wakeboard competitions, and guided snorkel boat trips. Spectator entry free. Participant packages from AED 400 for a full-day multi-sport pass.
