The UAE's East Coast is home to some of the Arabian Peninsula's finest dive sites. Fujairah, Dibba, and the Musandam peninsula offer clear water, healthy reefs, dramatic marine life encounters, and fascinating historic wrecks.
Marine Life
Expect to encounter green sea turtles, white-tip reef sharks, nurse sharks, Napoleon wrasse, moray eels, stingrays, and enormous schools of fish. In season, whale sharks are spotted near Fujairah and Musandam.
Beginner Friendly
Sites like Snoopy Island in Dibba and Martini Rock's shallower areas are ideal for beginners and even snorkellers. Multiple PADI 5-star dive centres offer Discovery Dives for uncertified visitors.
Advanced Diving
Musandam's Lima Rock and Khor Shinnas offer technical wall dives with hammerhead sharks and strong currents. These require Advanced Open Water certification and experience with drift diving.
