Overview

Wadi Adventure in Al Ain is the UAE's most purpose-built water sports complex. Nestled at the base of Jebel Hafeet — the UAE's highest mountain — the facility combines a cable wakeboard park, an artificial white water channel, flat-water SUP, and a wave pool.

It's the only place in the UAE where you can wakeboard, kayak Grade 3 rapids, and paddleboard all in one day.

Cable Wakeboarding

The wakeboard park runs two full-circuit cables and a dedicated beginner 4-point system. The main cable is 700m long with multiple kicker and rail features set up along the course. Two speed settings accommodate beginners (28 km/h) and advanced riders (38 km/h).

All equipment is included — board, bindings, helmet, and impact vest — making this the most complete beginner-friendly setup in the UAE.

White Water Kayaking

Wadi Adventure operates the UAE's only artificial white water channel — a 320m river with adjustable Grade 2–4 rapids. The facility is used for international white water competitions and recreational sessions.

Kayak hire and guides are available for both introductory sessions and advanced rides.

SUP

Flat-water SUP on the adjacent lake. Calm and sheltered, ideal for beginner paddlers or those looking to practise technique.

Wave Pool

A single-peak artificial wave suitable for beginner and intermediate surfers. Consistent wave, no crowding, and instructor-guided sessions available.

Getting There

Wadi Adventure is located just north of Jebel Hafeet on the outskirts of Al Ain, approximately 90–100km from Dubai via the E22 highway (1–1.5 hours). Follow signs to Jebel Hafeet from Al Ain city centre.

Free parking is available on site. The complex is partially shaded, making it one of the few UAE water venues that operates sensibly through the summer.
