About RAK Wing Foil School
Ras Al Khaimah catches the strongest and most consistent Shamal winds in the UAE — making it the best emirate for high-performance wing foiling and kitesurfing. RAK Wing Foil School was established by a team of ex-kitesurfing instructors who transitioned to wing foiling in 2022 and haven't looked back.
The school operates from a private beach north of RAK city, away from tourist crowds and boat traffic. Conditions are excellent: 1–2m water depth, warm temperatures, and winds averaging 18–25kn during the Shamal season.
Courses Offered
Wing Foiling Fundamentals (2 Days)
A weekend intensive covering everything from zero to sustained foiling. Two full days (approx 6 hours on water) with small groups.
Price: AED 1,200 per person (max 3 students)
Fast Track Private Course (1 Day)
8 hours of private, one-on-one coaching. Ideal for athletes from other board sports (surfing, snowboarding, skating) who want to accelerate their progression.
Price: AED 1,400 per person
Wing Foiling Downwinders
For intermediate and advanced riders. Guided downwind runs along the RAK coast using the Shamal. One of the best experiences in UAE water sports.
Price: AED 350 per person per downwinder (own equipment required)
Equipment Rental
Price: AED 300 per 2-hour session
