Ras Al Khaimah is underrated as a water sports destination — and RAK Watersports Centre is here to change that. Operating from a purpose-built beach facility at Al Hamra Beach, we offer the UAE's most diverse single-centre programme: kitesurfing, windsurfing, surf coaching, and full PADI scuba dive training, all with the Hajar Mountains as a dramatic backdrop.

Kitesurfing
RAK's coastline catches reliable Shamal winds from May to September, and winter northeast sea breezes the rest of the year. We run IKO beginner and progression courses year-round.

Windsurfing
One of the few centres in the Northern Emirates offering VDWS-accredited windsurfing tuition. Flat water at Al Hamra is ideal for beginners; experienced windsurfers can push out for open-water blasting in stronger conditions.

Surfing
RAK's East Coast (accessible via Khor Fakkan Road) receives consistent Indian Ocean swells in winter. Our surf coaches run small-group and private sessions at the best breaks. East Coast surf transfers included for multi-day packages.

PADI Scuba Diving
RAK has some of the most accessible dive sites in the UAE. The artificial reef off Al Hamra and the Zubara wreck are highlights. All PADI courses from Discover Scuba to Divemaster available.
